Sorry to say, Dr. Piper is way off here. Trendy, hip liberal thinking seems to be polluting his ideas! It’ll take 3 episodes to debrief on this one, so keep tuning in. Look, Piper’s a terrific pastor, but I take strong issue with his recent post criticizing Jerry Falwell’s comments at Liberty University. Falwell’s words were a breath of fresh air and should have invited overwhelming applause from the entire conservative and Christian community – and all of America, for that matter! A university administrator finally encouraging sensible, lawful firearms policy that will protect campuses rather than these lethal gun-free zones we’ve been forced to suffer, tragically at the cost of significant human life. We need to protect our campuses and communities. It’s sensible, it’s biblical. Right on Jerry!
